EUROqCHARM
The goal of the EUROqCHARM project (EUROpean quality Controlled Harmonization Assuring Reproducible Monitoring and assessment of plastic pollution) is to establish harmonized methods for monitoring and assessing macro-, micro-, and nanoplastics in the environment, as well as outlines for standards and recommendations for policy and legislation.
About the project
EUROqCHARM is:
- A consortium of 15 EU partners
- Promoting a multi-stakeholder approach
- To develop cost-effective monitoring strategies
- Focusing on all environmental compartments: water, soil/sediment, air, and biota
- Targeting a wide range of plastic types (nano-, micro-, macro-)
The project is led by NIVA and involves several Norwegian partners.
EUROqCHARM is supported by the European Horizon 2020 program under grant agreement no. 101003805.
