EXPERTISE
Profile
I am an environmental social scientist with experience in conducting interdisciplinary research linking economics, social and environmental sciences. My work focuses on developing nature-based solutions to foster biodiversity and human well-being in cities. I have expertise in the economic valuation of ecosystem services, in assessing the relationships between urban greenspaces and mental health in rapidly urbanising cities in low- and middle-income countries, and in devising novel methods for assessing links between biodiversity and human well-being. I have worked and studied in international and interdisciplinary teams in Germany, Norway, UK, India, and my PhD research took place in Nepal.
