DESTRESS is a strong research consortium of NIVA, Senckenberg Research Institute, Stockholm University, University of Amsterdam, and WaterITech.

NIVA will formally administer the project and lead stakeholder collaborations and the synthesis work together with Jes Rasmussen (Project PI).

Senckenberg Research Institute will provide curated biodiversity data and lead long-term biodiversity trend analyses. Stockholm University will be a central partner developing the SOS-concept with and for stakeholders. University of Amsterdam will provide ecotoxicological competences for biodiversity effect analyses, and WaterITech will set up SWAT+ hydrologic models to quantify river flows.

All partners will be involved in synthesising acquired data and knowledge for developing the SOS-concept that is aligned with stakeholder needs.
