June 2022: ENTRANS participated in the 9th Norwegian Environmental Toxicology Symposium (NETS): Towards a Clean Ocean held in Tromsø, Norway between 8 to 10 June 2022. Sebastian Kuehr gave an oral presentation on “Isotopically enriched nanoparticles to investigate the impact of wastewater treatment process on their bioavailability”.
May 2022: ENTRANS participated in the SETAC Europe 32nd Annual Meeting between 15 to 19 May 2022 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Sebastian Kuehr gave a poster presentation on the first results obtained on the “Uptake and accumulation of wastewater-borne nanomaterials and released metals by the benthic amphipod Hyalella azteca under environmentally relevant conditions”.
Sebastian also chaired a session on the “Advances in Bioaccumulation Science and Assessment” in the same conference.
May 2022: Anastasia Georgantzopoulou gave an invited lecture in the Annual Meeting of the Norwegian Society of Toxicology and Pharmacology (NSFT) on “Nanotoxicology: status, challenges and needs - an environmental perspective” where preliminary results of ENTRANS were presented.
September 2021: ENTRANS participated in the SETAC GLB 2021 between 07 to 08 September 2021 where Sebastian Kuehr gave a presentation on the activities undergoing within ENTRANS.
April 2021: ENTRANS participated in the 10th International Conference on Nanotoxicology - Nanotox between 20th to 22nd April 2021.
May 2021: ENTRANS participated in the SETAC Europe 31st Annual Meeting between 3rd to 6th of May 2021.
October 2020: On 1st of October 2020 the ENTRANS project had the kick-off meeting. ENTRANS, is an interdisciplinary four-year project funded by the Research Council of Norway (Nano2021 call) and brings together scientists from fields of environmental, material science and material characterization, chemistry, biology, nanotoxicology and risk assessment.
