Region North
NIVA Region North is co-located with our subsidiary, Akvaplan-niva, at the Fram Centre in Tromsø.
There are seven employees in the office who work locally, nationally and internationally.
The employees at NIVA Region North represent different sections at NIVA and cover a wide range of professional expertise on environmental challenges related to the High North and the Arctic. As a member of the Fram Centre, NIVA is involved in several of the Fram Centre's research programs and projects.
