Biosecurity in RAS (recirculating aquaculture systems) (BRAS)
The main goal of the project is to strengthen biosecurity in RAS facilities with new knowledge about the sensitivity of pathogenic microorganisms to different biosecurity strategies and survival in RAS.
ICP Waters
The programme collects monitoring data from approximately 20 countries in Europe and North America to monitor and investigate the extent to which air pollution affects lakes and rivers, particularly regarding acidification, heavy metals and pollutants.

The section covers all aspects of environmental hazards and risk assessments of chemicals. We are continuously developing new systems and improving existing methods, to better assess the effects of chemical substances in both freshwater and marine environments.
