Operation Report from lime doser in Storelva River, S Norway. Non-conformance report 2017.

Summary

NIVA has developed methods permitting an efficient control of lime dosers in streams. The control involves simple sensor technology and an efficient information flow. This system is used to improve on and ensure a cost-efficient liming. The information generated is an aid to operators, water managers and is extensively used for quality control issues. This report summarizes results from the monitoring in the Storelva River in 2017, in addition to an evaluation of discrepancies detected in 2017.
