Summary
The project will provide valuable insight into data and method comparison through the "multi-dimensional" NOM characterisation of the same set of material. The results confirm that the selected sites and water sample types (i.e. throughfall, soilwater and surface water) provide the span in chemistry that is required to detect possible correlations between the physicochemical characteristics of the NOM and factors as S-deposition and climate.
