Summary
Here we consider the discharge of a total of 100 000 tonnes of clean dredged materials in a position at the head of the Ranfjord where it is 300 m deep. In the model, the discharge is modelled as a continuous flow distributed evenly from the surface to the bottom. The discharge takes place in a total of 62 days. In reality, the discharge will have a more patchy distribution in time and large chunks of the material will most likely sink to bottom as a single mass. We consider the description of the discharge in the model as a worst case. ...
