Amy is a social scientist with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from The University of Nottingham and a Master's degree in Globalisation and Development from SOAS, University of London.
In her role as an advisor in Project Support section, she primarily works with project management and coordination of several international capacity development projects based in Asia. Amy is also part of the international coordination group and the Africa group at NIVA.
Amy has extensive experience in humanitarian aid and human rights and has worked on project assignments in several international organisations. She also has significant field experience from Zambia, where she has led and coordinated projects that promote gender equality and empower communities through sports, health, and education programmes. This work has included developing strategies for effective project implementation, collaborating with local and international partners, knowledge sharing and capacity building, as well as designing communication and advocacy campaigns.
